Point your domain to a DotSpider for-sale page
Custom landers use Cloudflare for SaaS on the DotSpider zone. Your domain keeps its registrar; DNS points visitors to DotSpider’s fallback origin lander.dotspider.com, which serves a branded “This domain is for sale” page with Buy Now and Make Offer checkout on DotSpider.
1. Enable the lander in DotSpider
Open App → Market → listing → Custom-domain lander, confirm the checklist, and click Enable custom-domain lander. DotSpider creates SSL custom hostnames for yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com.
2. DNS at your registrar or DNS host
- www — CNAME to
lander.dotspider.com(proxied/orange-cloud if on Cloudflare). - Apex — If your DNS host supports ALIAS/ANAME/CNAME flattening (Cloudflare, Porkbun, Name.com, DNSimple, Route 53, etc.), point the apex to
lander.dotspider.com. Otherwise use registrar URL forwarding from apex →https://www.yourdomain.com, then CNAME www as above. - Redirect-only — Forward apex to
https://dotspider.com/market/yourdomain.com?ref=landerif your registrar only supports forwarding.
DotSpider never edits DNS without an explicit Confirm click. Cloudflare-synced zones can show a before/after diff and one-click apply with backup restore.
3. Wait for SSL
Use Check again in the lander panel until DNS is detected and the certificate is active. Then visit your domain in a browser.
4. After sale
When a deal completes, DotSpider deactivates the custom hostname and shows a “sold” page until you remove or change DNS.
